On a Sunday morning, “influenced by a dare” Jett left his number on the back of a Chili’s receipt for his waitress(That’s me!). The rest is history. We went on seven dates in a row. Five weeks later, I was on a greyhound bus heading to Georgia to meet his parents.

Together we have navigated many barriers including long distance, military obligations and now we’re in the thick of parenthood. Jett’s career in the U.S. Marine Corps brought us to coastal North Carolina and now to Southwest Georgia where we are raising our three kids and many, many pets.
